For Practitioners

The Trauma Healing Project needs experienced volunteer practitioners.

The Trauma Healing Project is a non-profit organization that provides low-cost holistic healing arts services to survivors of abuse, violence and other trauma.  We believe that trauma healing is possible. Since the start of 2016 we have served over two hundred-fifty people.  We currently offer drop-in classes such as Yoga, Nia, Mindfulness, Finding Voice Through Art, a friends and family trauma-related topic discussion series and group acupuncture.  We also started two new programs this year which will enable us to serve over 70 individuals in our complete wellness program, which includes individual bodywork.

Our individual bodywork services include Craniosacral Therapy, Reiki, Acupuncture, Massage, Polarity Integration Therapy and Feldenkrais.  We are reaching out because we are in need of additional volunteer practitioners to meet the growing demand for our services.  We are recruiting for licensed or certified, experienced practitioners who would like to receive training in trauma informed care and gain more skills in working with the lovely and powerful people who seek healing and support here at the THP.

If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Dawn at 541-687-9447 or [email protected].  Please see our HAP Practitioner Agreement for more information, and you can find our volunteer practitioner application here:  Volunteer Practitioner Application
